Tri-County Entrepreneurial Development Corporation announces Business Plan Center
The Tri-County Entrepreneurial Development Corporation has announced their new Business Plan Center. The Business Plan Center, located in the Oconee Business Center, will be a venue where clients have a hands-on learning experience developing a business plan under the guidance of seasoned SCORE mentors.
SCORE, the Senior Corps of Retired Executives, is a national organization of 15,000 members and is the mentoring arm of the US Small Business Administration. Locally, the Piedmont SCORE has 30 members, armed with extensive business knowledge, who are dedicated to helping entrepreneurs start and run small businesses.
Clients of the Business Plan Center will have access to Live Plan, a state of the art business planning software, at no cost. At the end of the process, clients will have a professional looking business plan.
“Creating a business plan can be perceived as one of the more daunting aspects of starting a business, especially if one is seeking financing and needs a professional appearing plan,” said Terry McKenney, Director of the Oconee Business Center.
It is not necessary to be a tenant of the Oconee Business Center in order to take advantage of the Business Plan Center. All SCORE clients will have access by appointment.
