Oconee Economic Alliance hosts annual Birdies & BBQ Industry Appreciation Golf Tournament
On Thursday, August 6, the Oconee Economic Alliance (OEA) hosted their annual Birdies & BBQ Industry Appreciation Golf Tournament at Cross Creek Plantation in Seneca.
Cross Creek Plantation is a superb championship 18-hole golf course designed by nationally-known golf course designer P.B. Dye. “Cross Creek has everything it needs to be the best golf course in South Carolina,” said Dye. The 500 acre development served as the ideal location for the OEA to thank and recognize many of the industries that call Oconee County home.
The OEA had more than 90 local business and industry leaders, OEA board members and investors, and other players participate in the event. More than 30 local companies were represented in the Captain’s Choice tournament.
