Strategic Plan
Behind every good effort, there is a plan. Oconee County has in place a five-year strategic economic development plan that was developed and adopted in early 2013. The plan is rooted in key characteristics, trends and values of Oconee County and the economy of Upstate South Carolina. We strive to improve the quality of life for the citizens by building a robust and healthy economy that is both diversified and sustainable. Our strategic plan for economic development provides the “road map” for the County to succeed in attracting more private investment within our extremely vibrant, but competitive regional market.
